Gretta Monahan at Savor the Success Holiday Party We had the pleasure of having a private room (as a vendor) at an amazing holiday party on Monday night, held by Angela Jia Kim and her husband Marc Stedman, co-founders of Savor the Success. A very special speaker came to the party (held at Delluva Day Spa in NYC) - Gretta Monahan (pictured here with Angela Jia Kim ) from the Rachel Ray and Tim Gunn's Guide to Style shows. What an incredible woman! She was introduced by Angela, who mention that she is a Harvad Biz School grad and has been running her own business since the age of 24 - taking her first Business class at a local college after starting Gretta Cole, her salon and day spa company. It was truly an honor to have the opportunity to hear Gretta discuss some details about her business life, give a few business tips and offer some great motivation to the gathering of women business owners. I was also thrilled to have the chance to actually say hello and shake her hand, and imagine my delight when she knew who I was! She remembered my name from my providing a custom guitar pick necklace for the Tim Gunn's Guide to Style show (on Bravo) this season. It was wonderful! Gretta and I had about a minute to talk before she was needed for some photographs - it was truly an honor to meet her, she is a true inspiration.
